An early model rescue and exploration vessel, the Minotaur was highly capable despite its bulky (by modern standards) armor and lack of armament. Capable of FTL travel by Alcubierre-type distortion drive and tight maneuvering courtesy of Robert Zubrin.

in-game it's not an amazing rad shield. but i made it more as a protection against real radiation. a dense liquid like GEL would help for sure, and certain ceramics block harmful radiation very well

i am aware of layering! i'd do that for a more advanced ship, or one focused on combat. that armor is more for environmental concerns than anything. radiation + minor impacts

to do that you can delete ONLY the gel and place phot where it was. then place bmtl on top of the phot. (it will go under) then just use consol and !set type phot gel !set type bmtl ttan

you should add a layer off ttan under the gel. (layering)
