The blue glow of neutrons in TPT is probably inspired by the Cherenkov radiation produced by uranium underwater reactors and plutonium cores generated when the radiation coming off them enters the air, gets absorbed, and the air emits a blue glow. If you ever see this blue Cherenkov glow, congrats, you're about to frickin' die. -
