    also what i want to add is that the rings need to be slightly smoothed around the edges using black painted FILT as a background, then it wont look so "solid". also, in my opinion, using a noise filter (from the "Noise filter" mod) it looks cooler (id:3082559 as an example)

    okay, we already know how to: make shadows, make atmosphere and glow effects, make textures, make craters and what shape, make rings and how to make gas giants. What remains to be learned is: how to make beautiful stars, how to differentiate between water and land, how to make vegetation on the planet, how to make water and how to make solar flares with decorations

    The rings have no discernible division or gap, why does the shadow cast on the planet have a division? Also note that parts with many gaps would be partially transparent lol sorry
