    ti did not explode in a nuclear blast. the pressure in the reactor simply got to immense and it ruptured like a giant pressure vessel/volcano. spewing irradiated debries into the air.

    It didn't "nuke" explode but it did explode releaseing a ton of radiation

    look it up! have you been living under a rock? then tell me why there is a 30km exclusion zone around the chernobyl reactor. it did explode.

    the operators of reactor no 4 had to increase power- they pulled out all but one control rod, and the core overheated and exploded.

    Please don't be rude. I made this in memory of those who died. I knew 3 people that worked there.
