    Mig33 accually some airforce units in central poland still use these(along with mig-29s and f-16s)

    Ya, it was an inhancement to the MiG-29 fulcrum, better engines, a new cockpit panel, but the reason it didnt come into usage is cuz instead of an upgrade, the designers wanted a new plane design

    The MiG-33 never came off the drawing boards, the designation MiG-33 was used as a marketing tool for the MiG-29M Super Fulcrum. The MiG-33 never existed outside of the windtunnel.
