A convex lens foucuses the light to a single point, called the focal point. A concave lens spreads the light out without creating a focal point.

    would it be alright if i use the laser if i give credit? i dont really publish many saves but when i do, they suck.

    it technically is; it's just 3 beams directly next to each oter.

    This doesn't really show the refraction, I think you need atleast 3 beams of light for each lens.
