Due to the recent landing of the Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover I decide to make this save. I am also going to make a save on the rover, rocket, landing procedure and maybe a few other related things.

    coryman: SRBs are literally one of the best possible engines, but they cannot be stopped, so liquid fuel is used for core stage engines. Solid fuel has great thrust and a reasonably good weight, making them perfect for hauling a massive rocket into orbit.

    @coryman, you're wrong. Solid boosters have a great thrust by a low weight, and has a great burn time. I love to use then in cargo rockets in general.
