    In about 5 billion years the Sun will turn into a supergiant and then another 10 billion it'll turn into a brown dwarf. No explosion.

    No, the sun actually will explode. First it will draw in huge ammounts of debris/energy from around it and explode outwards.

    Perhaps, but if you wait around long enough for it to get all "charged/fired up" it'll release a small explosion.
