I am having the following bugs:
-Mod Settings menu will not open
-TPTMP is not showing up
how do i fix them?
It means you either have a corrupt multiplayer script downloaded in scripts>downloaded folder or you somehow deleted the updatedmp.lua file while updating it via new option.
Dw, I am working on a new version which will fix issues like this, till then you can try using the reset option from mod menu(don't press J, use settings button) or if it's not opening then try going to simulation options> open data folder> scripts and delete the scripts folder.
This will resolve the issue for now.
Or
If you still have manager (lua button on right side), you can install a new mp version and it will work fine too.
The mod should still load the inbuilt mp if it fails to load both scripts tho.
Funny, I can't even see the post.
I have a kinda major issue, when I try to quit the mod, it doesnt quit, I have to use activity monitor/force quit to quit the mod.
Also, when it's in the limbo state between being open and not open, it lags the computer quite a lot.
^
Also, the mod performs a few additional checks on startup but they shouldn't cause any noticeable lag.
Do you have a stable network connection or do you use the mod mostly without a network?
Also, have you tried using cmd + Q to quit the mod?
Mac OS handles windows and apps differently than Windows OS.
Oh, Im sorry i didn't see these new messages, It does not occur with vanilla TPT, Jacob1's mod, But TPT Ultimita does have the issue, but i have not tested the snapshots, And CMD Q does not work, with the same issue, and I have a stable network connection.
What i mean by limbo state, is that when i quit it, it looks like it quits but when i try to click on it nothing happens and activity monitor considers it "not responding" but im not talking about when i open the mod.
It does happen every time
Also, right after i quit it, it becomes a black screen, im gonna include my version of macos too: 12.0.1 and i have an M1 mac mini,
I will need to test some more things, but for now can you try opening safari or any other app and use cmd + Q to close it?
Check if you have it remapped to something else, normally it should force quit it.
Will let you know if anything could be done.
