Why Remove Compression?

    You used to be able ( Versions around 79 ) to use some console commands to stack particles on top of each other like this:
    !set x element 200
    !set y element 200

    And so you could have 20 000 or so particles in a single pixel, allowing for more saves and more lag.

    Guys, guys. If you thing this should be re-added, just get someone to make a mod for it. I imagine it's only one or two lines that constantly check for stacked pixels and replaces them - just delete these few lines!

    I found out my earliest version is 4.8, and my most modern one which needs an update is 6.5. That's a shame it was removed, but when you think about if we found something the developers had no idea theyput in, it makes The Powder Toy have many more options.

     

     

    Off-topic, Who remembers the wierd lighting back in 7.1-7.5? No glow around it, made it look too simple.
