    Dear all,
I discovered the powder toy in ubuntu, ilstalling it with a .deb file. My actual versus is 52.0. I can see i do not have the last.
Which way to update it? Is there a .deb file or a line to put in my sources.list to update to the lastest version?

    Best regards.

There is an error when I try the update. That is may be due to the ubuntu package installation.

    edit :
OK, it is OK for me : I made the installation without .deb. I replace the bin with the newest.
    Thanks for all .

Could be permission, or an old unsupported 64bit version (Which no longer updates).

Certainly a permission problem. the software can not be executed  with root permissions.

the copy of the bin file was for me the best solution at the moment.

EDIT (2012/03/03) : today, an update of the .deb supplied by getdeb.net give the versus 71.3-1./

I maintain my own in my PPA. I try to keep it as up-to-date as possible. Both stable and daily builds.

    Stable: https://launchpad.net/~kroq-gar78/+archive/ppa

    Daily (almost-daily): https://launchpad.net/~kroq-gar78/+archive/powdertoy-unstable
