iOS Development?

    Hello people! :D

    I was wondering if development of the Powder Toy will come to iOS devices. If not, maybe I could help? I've been looking around on the internet to see if I can import C++ applications (ie. Powder Toy) to iOS. From what I've been reading, C++ is the coding language used to develop apps for iOS. So I was thinking, since Powder Toy is coded in C++, that it could maybe run on iOS. It would probably work terribly, but just seeing the help text would be exciting! :D

    Two words.

    SEARCH BAR

    And no, it will not happen, iOS devices simply cannot handle TPT. Mastermind555 and Boxmein are working on a java version, however. And it may hit Android devices.

    @pilojo (View Post),
    Hmm. I tried the search bar, and that didn't make anything useful show up! :D

    I read that Objective-C is a subcode of C. What I read could be wrong though.

    TPT isnt coded in C++
    nor is IOS capable of running Powder Toy due to lack of power.

    Whoever says that TPT cant be done for iOS or Android is sadly mistaken. Minecraft is 10 times more demanding than TPT and it is on both iOS and android. The only problem with TPT being on cell phones is the fact that nobody has coded it or really wants to code it.

Locked by doxin: locked because A) not going to happen and B) this might become a flame-fest.
