While I've been aware of issues connecting to the Powder Toy server since the server move yesterday, It has become clear the the issue is more complicated that I had originally thought. At first, I assumed it was an issue with time it would take the DNS servers to update, but it seems to be a problem with the server software not correctly responding to requests. The matter is being investigated and I hope for this to be solved relatively soon.
