Restart 64 bit?

I recently upgraded from i386 to amd64 and noticed that 64 bit hasn't been available since around version 40.(2011)

Can it be started again? It would be easier for non-computer savvy people to work .

Just a suggestion, let me know if it's impracticable.

    ...That isn't really an answer.

I'm not sure if I will continue it, but I could even add in my own updater to the game if I wanted. My mod on linux was never really popular so i'm not sure if this would be either.

I also recently figured out how to run 32 bit programs on my 64 bit linux. I forgot all the commands I did since I did it over time, but I basically added the 32 bit architecture, then got the ia32libs package or something like that, and a few other libraries tpt uses like bz2 and fftw3f I had to install the :i386 package.

And the reason there is no 64 bit one is because the server tpt is compiled on is 32 bit.

    Thanks!

Since 64-bit is becoming more popular, it was continued then all would be able to use it!
