Which Groups Still exist?

I remember when I first started TPT there were several groups- now the only prevelant one is the US Navy group. I never really thought of joining a group due to having a limited understanding of them; but if I was ever to consider it, a choice would be great.

The United States Veterans is growing slow but getting users.

I would suggest you check out the groups section in tptapi.com where most of the still alive groups have a page there

You can still join our group. It's not specifically the US Navy group, just we use the US Navy rank system because I found it a bit easier to start with.

Moving on, Schicko is right, most all of the still active groups also have a group over on TPTAPI. And some not even then.

Also, just to ask a question: what do you not understand about TPT/TPTAPI groups?

thanks for that, I rarely look at tptapi, mainly to see wheter benthecrazy has finally lost his majority stake in pretty much everything. I did have a limited understanding of them and that was one of the reasons I never considered joining, but I have understood at leaasst the rudiments for some time now. I will bear your group in mind, but I would like to see if there are any more than you and the BoS.

    Yeah, like Line-arK.

You can join up to three 'official' groups on TPT (official as in groups that truly have a group on the forums). Yoou can join as many as of the save-based groups as you want, although I find it a bit harder to join those.

I see that the group adverisment you posted says that a degree of commitment is required, could you please clarify what exactly that entails.

Post to any thread within the group at least once a month. Thats the only way to get promoted, is what is meant by it.
