Higher resolution at fullscreen

Hello. You can increase the resolution when using the fullscreen? I know that on computers with 1920x1080 monitor playing a fullscreen game is awfully blurry and ugly.

That would require some work and would run slower than what it runs now.

The icons would need to be redone, the menus would need to be enlarged a bit, etc...

Implying that it'd even run at all lol (esp. on older PCs). I have a Core i7 4790k running at 4.5 GHz and I still lag sometimes in TPT (not usually though, vast majority of saves I get 60 FPS+ if I raise the fpscap).

    Simulations may glitch

No, because the simulation area size is a constant which would break all saves when changed. However, we could use some proper scaling and resizable windows (which I already implemented in my SDL2 port because damn SDL_RenderSetLogicalSize is great).

@fussional (View Post) Yes u can, although it would be 16x slower and you can't open other people's saves. Other people also can't open your saves.

He wasn't talking about increasing the size of the simulation, he was talking about increasing the resolution of the program.

This would be a good idea. On my screen, full screen appears blurred and stretched, and it would be great if it kept the same aspect ratio.
