    takes 2 atoms of oxygen to make actual oxygen because the oxygen atoms won't stay apart also O3 is ozone

    Okay. If it's H2+O2, wouldn't it be H2O2, which would mean it wouldn't be water?

    no, sometimes the Hydrogen atoms find the oxygen before other oxygen do, and hydrogen is good enough for the oxygen so H2O.
