No no, it isn't that great, just interesting. The savy eye will notice it is less of a bomb than a fountain.

The thing about this bomb is that the more encased it is, the more powerful it is. So for at least the inital wave, the bomb feeds off of its surroundings. It isn't demonstrated here, but compare the bomb with nothing and surrounded by sand. Also be sure to overlay it.
