I was fooling around with BreakingNYC's laser, and all of the sudden, both my splitted rays stop in thin air, probably because too much refracting. Why?

Yeah this always happens when I play around with lasers like reflecting it then after a lot of mirrors, the laser suddenly disappears.

Not a glitch at all. Energy particles like Fire, Photons, and Neutrons all have a preset lifetime called Life. The life value for a photon when it is made is about 700, so it will live for 700 frames before suddenly poofing.

Too bad you can't set a clone particle to spawn photons with a higher life value.....
    or none at all

Oh. I know what life is, I just didn't notice neutrons and photons have it too.

Set life as 0 for a photon. Then it will never die :3
