5. Please don't advertise for your save, IN your save. It's hard to express how annoying it is to see people drawing more elaborate >vote-up signs< than their saves in question required. Gimmicks for getting votes like "100 votes and I'll make a better version." are similarly frowned upon.

- This has been extended to include saves that "thank" for votes with excessively large signs or simply make a large point of it, as well as saves including a characteristic >green arrow< asking for votes. If your stuff is awesome, you shouldn't have to beg for popularity to make it so. These in particular will be removed from the front page, should they make it that far.
