Solidified resist is a solid produced after the reaction between liquid resist and photons. Solidified resist is immune to acid, heat and pressure. It blocks air (like titanium) and insulates spark. Solid resist reflects photons and absorbs gravitons. Electrons pass through solid resist, and protons destroy it.

Creation

Solidified resist can be synthesized only by shining photons on liquid resist:

Reactions

Solid resist liquefies into resist on contact with neutrons:

As in the case of liquid resist, if solidified resist has .ctype and/or .tmp set, then it will liquefy into the element stored in .ctype and set that element's .ctype to solid resist's .tmp. For example, solid resist with .ctype = ICE.png and .tmp = ELEC.png will liquefy into ice with .ctype = ELEC:

RSSS.png (ctype = ICE, tmp = ELEC) + NEUT.pngICE.png (ctype = ELEC)

.tmp will only be copied into .ctype if the element it turns into typically carries an element type in its .ctype. So it will preserve .ctype for an element like CLNE but not for GOO since that element doesn't store type information.

Resist will copy ctype from clone and powered clone it touches, powered clone need not be turned on for that to work.

Resist will also copy ctype from breakable clone and powered breakable clone it touches, and put it into .tmp.
